GRAND RAPIDS, MN (July 31) - Thursday night, July 31, Grand Rapids Speedway hosted its Hall of Fame night at the speedway. During the HoF ceremonies, Donny Smith, Mike Meyer, Charlie Castle and Bob Broking were inducted.
It was also $1,000 to win in the WISSOTA Modifieds, which Cameron, Wisconsin invader Blake Adams took back home with him. Other WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Joey Jensen, Jake Smith, Curt Myers and McKenna Folstad.
In the Modifieds, Adams started in the third row and grabbed the lead from Josh Beaulieu with just four laps to go after a rocky start to the feature, with several cautions part of the early action. Beaulieu was never too far behind in the closing laps, as Adams took the checkered flag and the win. Tyler Kintner, Mervin Castle III, and Chris Magistad finished in the top five.
Curt Myers (Jennifer Tomczyk Photo)
Myers started from the front row in the WISSOTA Super Stocks, and following a first-lap spin by his fellow front-row starter, Myers took the lead early. He grabbed the eventual win in a flag-to-flag effort for his 400th career win. He took the checkered flag ahead of Tristan LaBarge, who supplanted Dalton Carlson for second on the final lap. Ninth-starter Justin Barsness and Matt Sparby completed the top five during what was another caution-filled event.
Jensen started in the second row in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, moving into the top spot past leader Darrin Lawler during the first few laps of the race. He continued to lead through a couple more cautions and drove on for the victory. Eleventh-starter Michael Blevins ended his charge through the field in second, with Mikey and Sam Blevins behind in third and fourth. Tim Jackson completed the top five.

Carlson was close behind in second at the stripe, while Crosby, Dustin Puffe and Dusty Caspers were also top-five finishers.
McKenna Folstad (Jennifer Tomczyk Photo)
Folstad used her front-row starting spot to her advantage in the WISSOTA Hornets, taking the lead and holding off the efforts of Russell Kiker, Jr., Mark Gangl, Brady Fosso, and Nikota Larson, who were in a cluster to the checkered flag. Kiker, Gangl, Fosso and Larson were top-five finishers.
In the Northern Renegade feature, Chris Lewis picked his way forward from eighth at the start to grab the win ahead of Zach Olson, Ken Hron, Jori Hughes, and Danny Wait, Jr. in the top five.
