Leiker, Ferguson & Konst continue rocking rivals at Black Hills Speedway

RAPID CITY, SD (July 31) - Troy Leiker, Leonard Ferguson and Brett Konst continued to pad their 2026 win column stats at Black Hills Speedway Friday, as the three gentlemen scored WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victories in the Mid Mods, Streeters and Mod Fours, respectively.

Leiker started outside the second row in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, taking the lead from brother and polesitter Tony with just four to go. He was able to move to a more than 1 second lead at the finish ahead of Tony. Joel Morris was third. Scott Tyrrell was fourth, and Brennan Davis completed the top five.

Ferguson has been on an absolute tear in 2026, and Friday was no different. Starting from outside the third row in the WISSOTA Street Stocks, the No. 78 grabbed the lead about lap three and drove on to his ninth win of the season, all coming at BHS. Kyle Hanson, John Garrigan, Jr., Troy Murner and Lee Cuny completed the finishing top five.

In the WISSOTA Mod Fours, Konst started from the front row and led from green to checkered for his eighth overall victory in his 2026 efforts. Allan McDonnell, ninth-starter Devin Wolter, Kyle Hardesty and Michael Logelin rounded out the top five.

In the IMCA Modifieds Eric Mass was victorious, while Mike Pennel won in the 360 Sprints. Brad Jones topped the IMCA Hobby Stocks.
