Schulte, Koch, Nelson, Gullikson, Larson and Jenson get the last laugh Friday and Princeton fans get to see some Sprints, too
PRINCETON, MN (August 22) - There was no shortage of racing action at Princeton Speedway on Friday night, as two divisions of UMSS Sprint Cars joined the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series at the quarter mile. Feature winners included Travis Schulte, Dexton Koch, Dustin Nelson, Jim Gullikson, Tyler Larson, and Anthony Jenson.
Schulte took the lead from J.T. Johnson before the halfway point in the WISSOTA Modified feature, and held on for the score. Johnson finished second ahead of Brennan Gave, Tim Patchen and Doug Wojcik.

Koch started in the second row of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature and charged to the top spot a handful of laps into the race. Dustin Nelson claimed second after a late restart and stayed close to Koch, but settled for the runner-up position. Dylan Kromschroeder, Jake Luark and Josh Schmidt rounded out the top five.

Nelson took the lead early in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature, and although Ryan Putnam was close for much of the distance, Nelson held on for victory. Putnam was second ahead of Jason VandeKamp, Mitch Weiss and Erik Gruhlke.
Gullikson grabbed the checkered flag in the WISSOTA Street Stock feature over Tommy Pogones. A full feature rundown was unavailable at press time.

Larson started on the pole and raced away to the WISSOTA Mod Four feature win. Ashton Schwinn navigated from eighth to second at the finish with Rowan Tramm third, Chad Funt fourth and Gerrald Nohner fifth.

Jenson started on the pole and led flag to flag in the WISSOTA Hornet main event. Brady Fosso moved to second late, and finished over 2.5 seconds behind Jenson. Russell Kiker, Jr., Randy Jacoboski and Josh Backstrom rounded out the top five.
Casey Lang earned the Sprint victory with the wing on top, and Jack Berger topped Sprint action sans the wing.
