McCaughan, Williamson and Weiss winners at Dead Horse Creek’s Haulmaster Hustle

MORDEN, MANITOBA (July 18) - The Elmer’s Haulmaster Hustle delivered energy, hard racing, and an incredible show from the NLRA Late Models Saturday night at Dead Horse Creek Speedway.

The second night of the two-day special welcomed WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners Ricky Weiss, Dylan McCaughan, and Tanner Williamson to victory lane at the Morden, Manitoba-area race track.

Weiss took the lead in the WISSOTA Late Model feature with a handful of laps in the books, and drove away to a 3.5-plus advantage at the checkered flag ahead of Friday’s winner Shane Edginton. Jesse Teunis, Kelsi Pederson, and Travis Robertson completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, McCaughan set off from the front row at the drop of the green and controlled the race from start to finish. He was chased to the checkered flags by Wyatt Boyum, Memphis Klassen, Jamie Davis and 10th-starter Brenden Luschinski in the top five.

Williamson started outside of the third row in the WISSOTA Modifieds, and methodically picked his way forward to second about the halfway point of the feature. With four laps to go he drove by leader Ward Imrie and sped to the checkered flag. Imrie, Danny Staff, 14th-starter Rick Delaine and Brenden Luschinski were top-five finishers.

James Wall won in the Dead Horse Stocks, while Nick Audette captured the checkered flag in the Super Trucks feature.
