Giossi, Anderson, Redetzke and Kitchner cruise to sizzling summer feature wins Friday at Red Cedar Speedway

MENOMONIE, WI (June 20) - On a warm night in Menomonie, Wisconsin Friday, Red Cedar Speedway hosted an evening of WISSOTA Dirt Track Series racing, highlighted by the annual Kids’ Night activities throughout the program.

As the final checkered flag fell, James Giossi, Mike Anderson, Shadow Kitchner, and Jesse Redetzke were victorious in sanctioned action.

In the WISSOTA Super Stocks, Jesse Redetzke grabbed the lead from his front-row starting spot and led from start to finish, driving to the victory ahead of Andrew Davis, who improved four spots to second. Adam Pratt, 10th-starter Jeff Eisner, Jr. and 11th-starter Scott Geiger were top-five finishers.

Kitchner started from the front row of the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, supplanting polesitter Brady Larson for the top spot around lap two and driving to the victory nearly two seconds ahead of Larson at the checkered flag. Nick Koehler moved forward five spots to third, ninth-starter Justen Seipel was fourth, and Derek Haas completed the top five.

Following a caution that eliminated the front row of the WISSOTA Modified A-main, Mike Anderson inherited the lead and held back the charge of Blake Adams in the latter stages of the race to take the victory. Shane Halopka was third, 12th-starter Cory Crapser picked his way forward to fourth, and Calvin Iverson was fifth.

In the WISSOTA Late Model feature, Giossi took the lead with less than a handful of laps to go from race-long leader Mike Prochnow, driving to victory lane for his second time at Red Cedar this season. Ashley Anderson, Jake Redetzke, and ninth-starter Darrell Nelson finished in the top five.

In the USRA Late Models, Kory Ressie garnered the victory, while Matt Drier was the Hornet winner.
