Vang, Sabraski, Randt, Jacoboski and Pogones put their rides in victory lane Saturday at Ogilvie

OGILVIE, MN (May 30) - Danny Vang, Shane Sabraski, Landyn Randt, Randy Jacoboski and Tommy Pogones were winners Saturday in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action at Ogilvie Raceway.

Vang started from the pole and narrowly beat Kevin Burdick to the victory, taking the win by .114 seconds in the WISSOTA Late Model feature. Dave Mass, Harry Hanson and 12th-starter Devin Fouquette took home top-five finishes.

As has become a common occurrence over the years, Sabraski collected two wins Saturday night. He started on the pole of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature and had a near 4-second advantage ahead of Dexton Koch in second. Dylan Kromschroeder, Max Nelson and Ryan Kostreba were top-five finishers in the Supers.

In the WISSOTA Modifieds, Sabraski started from the front row again and sped away to a 2-second lead ahead of sixth-starter Ryan Gierke, who finished second. Cole Boston, Jody Bellefeuille and Brandon Mehrwerth rounded out the top five.

Pogones used his front-row starting spot to his advantage, snaring the win in the WISSOTA Street Stocks. Braedyn Fleck, Levi Randt, Jeff Ekdahl and Lucas Boyce completed the top five.

Landyn Randt won a thriller in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, as he held off the efforts of former National Champion Jake Smith by .148 seconds to net the victory. Smith’s run from seventh ended in second, Joey Wagamon was third, Nick Montanez was fourth, and Chance Kodet was fifth.

Jacoboski started from inside the third row, took the top spot about lap three and held off Nathan Penney by .393 seconds to garner the feature win in the WISSOTA Hornets. He was chased to the checkered flag by Penney, Christian Kast, Zander Zuehlsdorff and William Lange in the top five.
