Henkemeyer handles Super Stocks at Viking Speedway; other Saturday winners are Gerdes, Bitzan, Vogel & Dittman

ALEXANDRIA, MN (June 13) - Viking Speedway was back in action on Saturday with a Super Stock special as the showcase for the evening. Jordan Henkemeyer grabbed the top honors in the Super Stocks, while Brady Gerdes, Justin Vogel, Tyler Bitzan and Matthew Dittman also scored WISSOTA wins at the half mile.

Henkemeyer annihilated the field for his second WISSOTA Super Stock victory of the season in Alexandria. He started on the pole, and left the field in his dust to win by more than 4.5 seconds. Jeff Crouse finished a distant second with Ryan Satter third, William Lund fourth and Travis Scott fifth.

Gerdes also started on the pole en route to victory in the WISSOTA Modifieds. He led the entire distance, and slipped away from Dusty Bitzan late to earn his first win of the season at Viking. Justin Froemming was third ahead of Josh Thoennes fourth and Taylor Bitzan fifth.

Tyler Bitzan took advantage of a late restart to vault into the lead and score the victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Tyler Bitzan earned his first win of the season with Taylor Bitzan second, 12th-starter Travis Engebretson third, Shawn Olson fourth and early leader Josh Muzik fifth.

Vogel started fifth in the WISSOTA Street Stock main event, and quickly made his way to the point. He held on for his first win of the season at the speedway. Joe Martin finished second ahead of Jim Williams, J.J. Nieuwbeerta, and Craig Gardner.

Dittman charged from 10th on the starting grid in the WISSOTA Hornet main event and used a late-race pass to nab his first win of the season at the oval. William Lange settled for second ahead of Jeff Rohner, Chase Pourrier and Chase Golliet.
