Carlson claims Late Models while Copp, McFadden, Jensen, Wahlstrom & Ruzich also roll at Proctor

PROCTOR, MN (June 14) - Proctor Speedway was back in action June 14, as the tracked hosted Military Night. WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Kevin Carlson, Simon Wahlstrom, Brandon Copp, Shawn McFadden, Joey Jensen, and Nick Ruzich.

Carlson started from the pole and led all 20 laps to take home the win in the WISSOTA Late Models. He held a .377 advantage ahead of Harry Hanson at the checkered flag. Ninth-starter Jeff Massingill picked his way forward to third, Robbie Cooper was fourth and Danny Vang completed the top five.

Copp took the lead with five to go in the WISSOTA Modifieds, and stretched his lead to about 1.3 seconds in the closing laps to take the victory, his sixth of the season. Nick Oreskovich was second ahead of Cody Carlson, Evan Checkalski and Matt DePiero in the top five.

McFadden started from the front row and led green to checkered to collect the top honors in the WISSOTA Super Stock feature. His advantage was slightly more than 7.5 seconds ahead of Alex Myers in second. Austin Blom was third, D.J. Keeler was fourth and Danny Doran completed the top five.

Jensen’s was also a flag-to-flag effort in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. He crossed the finish line about a 1 second ahead of eighth-starter Paul Ripley, who completed his charge in second. Mikey Blevins, Adam Shinn and ninth-starter Sam Blevins rounded out the top five.

In the WISSOTA Pure Stocks, Wahlstrom continued the roll he’s been on in for the 2026 season. He finished first ahead of Tyler Wahlstrom, Aaron Bernick, Austin Fencl and Dylan Helget in the top five.

Ruzich started on the pole of the WISSOTA Hornet feature and maintained the top spot 15 laps later to take the checkered flag. He was chased to the finish line by sixth-starter Kyle LeDoux, Nathan Penney, McKenna Folstad and Zeb Graves in the top five.
