McCune, Reinke and Shumate show up their WISSOTA rivals Saturday at Electric City Speedway

GREAT FALLS, MT (May 17) - Racing action continued at Electric City Speedway on Saturday, with another round of WISSOTA Dirt Track Series competition. Travis Shumate picked up his second victory of the season, while Jeremy McCune and Zach Reinke each cashed in for a victory at the Montana oval.

Shumate started on the front row of the WISSOTA Street Stock main event. At the end of the 20-lap race, he grabbed the checkered flag for his second feature win of the year at the speedway. Caden Craver charged from seventh to grab second with Cail Tinker third, Dustin Collins fourth and Patrick Harvie fifth.

McCune, a former Sprint Car driver, collected his first win in the WISSOTA Late Model division. He started third on the grid and ran away to the checkers, while Tyler Leach crossed the line in second. Vernon Hill, Jim Zaremski and Paul Leach rounded out the top five.

Zach Reinke made the long trip from eastern North Dakota to Montana, and earned the feature win in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. Reinke led the distance to the finish ahead of Mario Berger, Joey Price, C.R. Eisenzimer and Marvin Gonzales.

Tyler Leach grabbed the IMCA Modified victory over David Davis and Kaycie Kynett.
