Randt and Smith score before rains ruin second of two nights at Greenbush Race Park
GREENBUSH, MN (September 6) - Greenbush Race Park held the second night of its Labor Day doubleheader, and although rain dampened part of the program, Levi Randt and Jake Smith were still able to make their way into WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victory lane on Sunday.
Jake Smith worked forward from the third position to earn the victory in the WISSOTA Pure Stock main event. Austin Carlson started beside Smith in the second row, but settled for second ahead of Mason Scholin, Mason Smith and Chad Puschinsky.
Randt snatched the victory in the WISSOTA Street Stock main event. After starting fifth, he worked into the top spot and outran Cole Greseth to the finish of the race. Greg Jose climbed from 11th on the grid to record the final podium position, with Jeremy Gust fourth and Alaina Chaplin fifth.
Nick McCann advanced from eighth to win the Four Cylinder main event, while the WISSOTA Modified, WISSOTA Midwest Modified and Lightning Sprint features all fell to rain.
