Sabraski storms to three wins on final night of Piston Cup while Randt, Bruss and Kast cash in at Granite City as well

SAUK RAPIDS, MN (September 27) - Delayed by weather for one day, Granite City Motor Park finished off the sixth annual Piston Cup weekend on Sunday evening. Shane Sabraski added another three victories to his career total by the end of the night, while Levi Randt, Connor Bruss, and Christian Kast also claimed WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victories at the central Minnesota oval.

Teddy Kottschade led early in the WISSOTA Modified main event. Sabraski made a move to take the lead on lap 10, then pulled away late to earn the win. Eric Lamm worked his way into second during the latter half of the race, and ninth-starter Zach Benson finished in the final podium position. J.T. Johnson and Kottschade earned top-five finishes.

Sabraski started on the front row and led every lap of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature for the win. Dexton Koch put pressure on Sabraski throughout the race, but settled for second. Dylan Kromschroeder, Ryan Satter and Denis Czech finished in the top five.

Sabraski led all but the opening lap in the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. He started on the inside of the second row and pulled away for the victory with Jake Smith second, Ron Saurer third, Jake Hagemann fourth and Chance Kodet fifth.

Randt stole the lead from race-long leader Cody Kummer headed to the white flag to claim the win in the WISSOTA Street Stock main event. Kummer finished a close second with 20th-starter Jim Gullickson concluding his charge forward in third. Eric Riley was fourth and Kyle Howland was fifth.

Bruss started third in the WISSOTA Mod Four main event, and grabbed the lead in the early laps of the race. Dustin Holtquist stayed close to the leader, but Bruss held on to win by just less than a half second. Ashton Schwinn was third ahead of Chad Funt and Tyler Larson.

Kast started the WISSOTA Hornet feature on the inside of the third row, and navigated his way to the front with five laps to go. Adam VanDerostyne, McKenna Folstad, ninth-starter William Lange and Nathan Penney earned top-five finishes.

Andy Oska notched the victory in the Crown Vic division.
