Stearns and Olson are Thursday’s open-wheel winners at Norman County Raceway

ADA, MN (July 30) - Mike Stearns and Justin Olson came out ahead of their WISSOTA brethren Thursday night at Norman County Raceway, as the track avoided the downpours to the southeast of the track and got another night of 2026 action in the books.

Stearns started from the pole and led from flag to flag in the WISSOTA Modifieds, grabbing the victory ahead of Bryce Borgen by more than 2 seconds. Dylan Zabel was third, Davey Mills finished fourth, and Michael Tiani was fifth.

In the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, Olson also started from the pole and turned in a flag-to-flag effort. At the checkered, he held about a half-second advantage ahead of Reise Stenberg in second. Aaron Blacklance improved five spots to third, Matt Schow was fourth, and Jory Berg completed the top five.

Winners in Norman County Raceway’s other classes included Reid Randalll in the IMCA Hobby Stocks and Noah Lewis in the INEX Legends. Ryan Satter broke through for the victory in the IMCA Stock Cars, and Paul Colvin was victorious in the IMCA Northern Sport Mods.
