Ferguson and Holtquist double up and Leiker lands a Half Mile Nationals win on night two at Black Hills
RAPID CITY, SD (August 22) - Black Hills Speedway wrapped up its season with night two of the 8th annual South Dakota Lottery Half Mile Nationals on Saturday night. Leonard Ferguson and Dustin Holtquist double dipped with weekend sweeps, while Tony Leiker also won in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action.
Ferguson cranked out his eighth WISSOTA Street Stock victory of the season at the half mile. He led all the way and took the checkers ahead of ninth-starter Troy Murner, Warren Pourier, Jr., Cole Phillips and Kyle Hanson.

Holtquist started in the second row of the WISSOTA Mod Four main event, and earned the checkered flag at the end of the 15-lap race. His father, Robert Holtquist, finished runner-up ahead of Dean Larson, Clint Jensen and Brett Konst.

In a reverse from the previous night, Tony Leiker outran his brother Troy for the victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. Tony started on the pole and stretched his lead to 3.7 seconds at the checkered flag. Rex Conrad was third with Scott Hansen fourth and Joel Morris fifth.
Eric Mass swept the weekend in the IMCA Modifieds, Dylan Opdahl grabbed the 360 Sprint win and Sean Weber topped IMCA Hobby Stock action.
