At the last Fiesta Friday, Tollakson, Fernkes, Bjorklund, Jans and Lange lock up the lead spots

MONTEVIDEO, MN (August 22) - The 2025 season championships at Fiesta City Speedway on Friday night included four first-time champions in their respective divisions.

WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners in Friday night’s action included Jon Tollakson, Shawn Fernkes, William Lange, Justin Bjorklund and Mike Jans.

Bjorklund led the entire WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature for his fourth win of the year and second championship in the Midwest Modifieds. He took the checkered flag ahead of Ryan Flaten, Shane DeJong, Scott Tofte and Jett Lindgren in the top five.

Alex Grinager took the lead to start the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Ty Schuler took the lead from Grinager on lap three, before Jans took over the top spot and went on to win his third feature of the season. Schuler, Chris Behrens and Grinager finished in the top four, while Dustin Schultz won his first track championship with his fifth-place finish.

Fernkes led every lap of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature for his fourth win of the year. Travis Scott won his second straight Super Stock track championship at Fiesta City Speedway with his second-place finish ahead of Andrew Hedtke, Karter Reents and Justin Tammen in the top five.

Jon Tollakson led the WISSOTA Late Model feature flag-to-flag for his first win of the season. Cory Tammen was second, while Devin Fouquette won his first Late Model championship with a third-place finish. Dalton Magers and Scott Lehn completed the top five.

Travis Bruns was the early leader of the WISSOTA Hornet feature. William Lange took the lead just a few laps later, and went on to get his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Adam VanDerostyne, Jerik Stabler, Hornet champion Bradley Rossow and Dalton Haag were top-five finishers.

Carter Rice and Tad Peterson battled for the lead on the opening lap of the Pure Stock feature. Rice took control on the very next lap and went on to get his first win of the season. Landon Albertson clinched his first championship with a seventh place finish.
