Thomas tackles WISSOTA Mod field at Norman County and Schow speeds to the front of Midwest Mod main

ADA, MN (August 7) - Joseph Thomas scored his second WISSOTA Modified feature victory of the season Thursday, and Ryan Schow did the same in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, as Norman County Raceway welcomed fans and racers to the Ada, Minnesota oval for another night of action.

In the Modifieds, Thomas started in the second row, gained the lead by lap eight and grabbed the checkered flag just about 1 second ahead of seventh-starter Tyler Peterson. Bryce Borgen, Travis Saurer and Brock Gronwold completed the top five.

Schow took the top spot from Rich Pavlicek with less than a handful of laps to go in the Midwest Mods before building a two-second cushion at the finish. Taylor Jacobson, Noah McFarlane and Aaron Blacklance were top-five finishers.

In the Lightning Sprint special, Dexter Dvergsten grabbed the checkered flag, while Andy Wagner was victorious in the IMCA Northern Sport Mod class. Aaron Olson scored the win in the IMCA Stock Cars, and Bryce Mueller drove home with the win in the Hornet feature.
