Louwagie, Tourville, Schultz, Flaten & Tollakson topple competition at Fiesta City Speedway

MONTEVIDEO, MN (August 7) - A total of 87 cars were in the pits at Fiesta City Speedway on Friday night for Meet the Drivers night.

WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Ryan Flaten, Jordan Tollakson, Zach Schultz, Brandon Louwagie, and Keith Tourville.

Justin Bjorklund grabbed the lead to start the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Flaten took over the lead at the halfway point of the race and went on to get his sixth feature win of the year. Bjorklund, Jake Wranek, Matt Everts and 10th-starter Scott Tofte completed the top five.

Mike Jans jumped out to the lead to begin the WISSOTA Street Stock feature. Tourville battled with Jans for the lead just past the halfway point of the race and eventually took the spot. He then pulled away from the field to win his sixth feature of the season. Jans, Coltyn Schuler, Zachary Flickinger, and Cody Hatch rounded out the top five.

Travis Scott took the lead to start the WISSOTA Super Stock feature and remained in control for the first 10 laps. Schultz drove by Scott with four laps to go, and went on to win his first feature at Fiesta City Speedway since 2023. Karter Reents, Trevor Nelson and Shawn Fernkes were top-five finishers.

Jordan Tollakson led the WISSOTA Late Model feature flag-to-flag to get his first win of the year. Corey Nelson, Josh Skorczewski, Jon Tollakson, and ninth-starter Ryan Schaufler completed the top five.

Brett Moffenbier took the lead to start the WISSOTA Hornet feature, before Adam Throener took the lead from Moffenbier on lap four. Louwagie took the lead on the very next lap, and he went on to get his first Hornet win at Fiesta City Speedway. Ninth-starter Adam VanDerostyne charged through the field to second, Throener was third, 10th-starter William Lange finished fourth and Paxton Tjaden was fifth.

Ashton Martin led the entire Pure Stock feature for his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Martin held off Jesse Timm in the final laps to get the win.
