Erlandson, Ramsrud, Strand and Wahl work up some Wednesday night winning at River Cities

GRAND FORKS, ND (July 2) - River Cities Speedway hosted a Wednesday night holiday-week special July 2, highlighted by WISSOTA Dirt Track Series wins from Dustin Strand, Luke Erlandson, Weston Ramsrud and Dustin Wahl.

In the WISSOTA Late Models, Strand started outside of the second row and gained the lead by lap three. He held a near 2-second advantage at the stripe ahead of eighth-starter Tyler Peterson. Mike Stearns improved three spots to third, Cole Schill was fourth, and Joey Pederson completed the top five.

Erlandson started fifth in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, taking over out front with less than a handful of laps completed and racing home the checkered flag for the first time in 2025, and his first-ever feature win in the Mid Mods. He was followed to the checkered flag by Ryan Schow, 11th-starter Memphis Klassen, MaKenna Romuld and Aaron Blacklance in the top five.

Ramsrud was scored the leader of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature with a handful of laps completed, and then narrowly held off the charge of eighth-starter Cole Greseth to garner the victory. Thirteenth-starter Greg Jose was third, 10th-starter Hunter Carter hustled his way to fourth, and 12th-starter Layla Chaplin completed the top five.

Wahl drove off the front row in the WISSOTA Modifieds to the lead over polesitter Josh Beaulieu, and then cruised to a 3.5-second advantage at the finish ahead of the furious charge of 18th-starter Tyler Peterson. Bryce Borgen, Bryce Sward, and Joseph Thomas rounded out the top five.

In the 410 Sprints, Jade Hastings came out on top, ahead of Andy Pake and Jack Croaker in the top three.
