Leiker continues leading the way in Midwest Mods while Jozwiak looks strong in Mod Fours at Gillette
GILLETTE, WY (July 4) - Tony Leiker lit up victory lane in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, and David Jozwiak did the same in the WISSOTA Mod Fours, as Gillette Thunder Speedway celebrated the 4th of July with racing featuring the ASCS Sprints.
Leiker started third in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods and took the early lead from polesitter Danny Allen. Allen stayed consistent for the 15-lapper in second. Leiker had about a 3 second advantage ahead of Allen at the checkered flag for his 10th victory of his 2026 season. Ty Miller was third, Zach Willingham was fourth and Martin Choate completed the top five.
Jozwiak had the lead from start to finish in the WISSOTA Mod Fours. Devin Wolter made a last-lap pass to grab the runner-up honors, while polesitter Russell Brown slipped back to third at the finish. Michael Logelin and Tony Reimers were top-five finishers.
Kelly Miller topped the Sprint feature from the pole, while Robert Donmyer was victorious in the IMCA Sport Compacts. Brad Jones was victorious the IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Darran Conrad won the IMCA Modified headliner.
