Casino crew changes locations for a night, and the winners are Flaten, Broksieck and Rohner at Renegade

CANBY, MN (July 23) - On Thursday night, Renegade Speedway roared to life for the annual Yellow Medicine County Fair races — the only race held at the oval each year. Ryan Flaten, Maria Broksieck and Jeff Rohner claimed the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series wins at the quarter-mile oval.

Flaten started on the pole en route to the victory in the 15-lap WISSOTA Midwest Modified main event. Scott Hansen advanced one position to finish in the runner-up slot ahead of Tim Kanten in third, Jason Anderson fourth and 12th-starter Brett Hansen fifth.

Broksieck fired off from the outside of the front row on her way to the WISSOTA Street Stock main event win. Zach Flickinger charged from the fifth starting spot to finish second in the 15-lap race, while polesitter Chris Behrens slid to third by the finish. Josh Long and Mike Jans rounded out the top five.

Rohner redrew the sixth starting position for the 12-lap WISSOTA Hornet feature, but overcame the handicap and charged to victory in his No. 08. Adam VanDerostyne finished in second with Thomas Kruger third, Bradley Rossow fourth and Brandon Louwagie fifth.

Jeff Nelson grabbed the victory in the Gen X Late Model main event ahead of sixth-starter Blake Swenson and 11th-starter Parker Gilbertson.
