Kellar tops Street Stock special at Thunder City, and he’s joined by Bellefeuille, Simpson, Chernosky and Owen in victory lane

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO (July 10) - Jody Bellefeuille, David Simpson, Cole Chernosky, A.J. Kellar and Selena Owen were WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victors Wednesday night at Thunder City Speedway, as the track hosted a $1,500-to-win Street Stock special July 10.

In that headlining special, Kellar drove from outside of row two into the lead in the last handful of laps of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature to grab the victory. Trey Hess was second, 17th-starter Kolton Brauer charged into third, Kyle Bolt was fourth and Darren Wolframe completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, David Simpson drove from flag to flag to capture the victory, his fourth of the season. William Moelter was second ahead of Curtis Stieh, Kolby Reed, and 12th-starter Tanner Ulakovic in the top five.

Minnesotan traveler Jody Bellefeuille led the field from start to finish in the WISSOTA Modifieds, taking top honors ahead of a hard-charging, 13th-starter Curtis Stieh in second. Cole Chernosky, Brandon Copp and 11th-starter Joel Cryderman completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Super Stocks, Chernosky started outside row two, drove into the lead early and set sail to the checkered flag. Rick Simpson, Shawn Polonoski, 10th-starter Tyler Kostecki and John Garrity rounded out the top five.

In the WISSOTA Hornet feature, tech shed decisions gave Selena Owen her second-straight victory. She was followed to the checkered flag by Curtis Oleksuk, Jimmy Owen, Spencer Smith and Rick Breukelman in the top five.
