Friske, Ferguson and Larson lock up Friday night feature wins at Black Hills Speedway

RAPID CITY, SD (June 27) - The WISSOTA Street Stock division was in the spotlight at Black Hills Speedway on Friday with a $750 top prize to the winner of the 12-lap main event. Leonard Ferguson grabbed the checkers in the Street Stock ranks, while Connor Friske and Dean Larson also posted WISSOTA Dirt Track Series wins at the half mile.

Ferguson earned his third win of the season at the oval in the WISSOTA Street Stocks. He started on the front row and raced to the checkered flag ahead of fourth-starter Troy Murner. Grady Myers advanced from fifth to third with Broc Stout fourth and Warren Pourier, Jr. fifth.

Larson grabbed his third WISSOTA Mod Four win of the season in Rapid City. He started fifth on his way to the checkers with Tristan Torres second, Rob Arlaud third, Khi Jackson fourth and Kyle Hardesty fifth.

Friske topped the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature event for his first win of the season. He started in the second row, took the lead early, and pulled away to a victory of more than four seconds ahead of Peyton George in second. Brennan Davis was third with Paul Parks fourth and Rex Conrad fifth.

Trevor Plambeck grabbed the Sprint victory, Eric Mass scored the IMCA Modified win and John Garrigan, Jr. picked up the Hobby Stock victory in other action at the speedway.
