Peterson and Schow scorch open-wheeled warriors Thursday at Norman County Raceway

ADA, MN (June 4) - Tyler Peterson and Ryan Schow secured WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victories Thursday at Norman County Raceway, as the speedway hosted Meet and Greet night for race fans.

In the WISSOTA Modifieds, Peterson started from the pole and held command from flag to flag, but narrowly took the victory by .128 seconds ahead of Joseph Thomas in second. Bryce Sward, Bryce Borgen and Dylan Zabel completed the top five.

In a race featuring its fair share of attrition, Schow was the early leader from 10th on the starting grid and led the field the remaining 16 laps to garner the victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Brennan Schmidt, Jory Berg, Kenna Breidenbach and 17th-starter Nick Shumansky completed the top five.

Rich Pavlicek won in IMCA Northern Sport Mod action, Reid Randall was the winner of the IMCA Hobby Stock feature, Ryan Braseth topped the INEX Legends, and Jonny Carter collected the victory in the IMCA Stock Car class to round out action at NCR.
