Bellefeuille, Sabraski, Simpson, Smith & Fosso find the fast lane at Grand Rapids Speedway

GRAND RAPIDS, MN (June 25) - Shane Sabraski, Jody Bellefeuille, David Simpson, Jake Smith, and Brady Fosso found victory lane at Grand Rapids Speedway Thursday, June 25 in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action.

Steve Stuart held the narrow lead following three and four-wide action in the opening laps of the WISSOTA Super Stock field. Sabraski shook out into second, with Dylan Nelson third. A couple laps later Sabraski elbowed past Stuart along the low side. Nelson also got past Stuart into second.

At the checkered flag, Sabraski’s advantage was more than 2.5 seconds ahead of Nelson. Stuart, ninth-starter Dalton Carlson and Chaston Finckbone completed the top five.

Simpson started sixth and took the lead from Darrin Lawler by lap three in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Blake Adams picked his way to the front from his eighth starting spot before the halfway point, but came up short of the winner. Simpson drove on unchallenged to the victory ahead of Adams in second. Michael Blevins, Sr., Lawler and 10th-starter Eric Anderson completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Modifieds, Bob Broking was the early leader, with Bellefeuille using the outside lane to snag the lead with two laps complete. Broking fought back on the bottom, but Bellefeuille put more distance on him one lap later.

Bellefeuille continued to escape from the field out front, while Broking held second ahead of a side-by-side battle between Simpson and Sabraski for third. Even with a late-race caution, Bellefeuille could not be beaten and took the checkered flag. Broking was second, Simpson was third, Adams was fourth and Sabraski was fifth.

After a race-long side-by-side duel for the lead in the WISSOTA Hornets, Fosso was able to pull away and took the eventual victory. Mikayla LaBarge was second, Nick Ruzich was third, Nikota Larson was fourth and McKenna Folstad was fifth.

Smith led from start to finish in the WISSOTA Pure Stocks for his ninth victory of his 2026 season overall. Austin Carlson, Mason Smith, Dylan Elhardt and Bob Klein completed the top five.

Chris Lewis was the winner from eighth on the starting grid in the Northern Renegades.
