Kitchner farms up some big cash with WISSOTA Midwest Mod win Friday at Red Cedar Speedway

MENOMONIE, WI (May 30) - Red Cedar Speedway hosted its annual “Farm Night” Friday, with special appearances by the UMSS Winged Sprints and Traditional Sprints, and the USRA Late Models.

WISSOTA Midwest Mods and Super Stocks were also part of the special night. Shadow Kitchner won the Midwest Mod feature, while the Super Stock A-main was postponed due to curfew. The Hornets also had their feature postponed.

Kitchner was the early leader from the drop of the green ahead of fellow front-row starter Jay Richardson. He led from start to finish to garner the win. Richardson, Jason VandeKamp, Brandon Jensen and Nick Koehler - who won a many-lap battle with Brady Larson, Jr. - rounded out the top five.

In the UMSS Traditional Sprints, Cam Schafer took the victory, while Garrett Tatnell won in the Winged Sprints. Kory Ressie drove to the win in the USRA Late Models.
