HURON, SD (June 20) - After struggling to finish a feature race during the first five weeks of the season due to mechanical issues, Tracy Johnson got things figured out on Saturday at Dakota State Fair Speedway in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds.

Other winners in WISSOTA Dirt Track Series action included Josh Skorczewski, Trevor Nelson and Maria Broksieck.

Out of the first five nights of the season, Johnson’s lone finish in the Midwest Mods was 11th on May 30.

Johnson started on the pole and led all 15-laps en route to the victory, which was his first at the Huron oval since August 20, 2016. It was the 10th victory of his career at DSFS.

Luke Johnson, who recorded a win in the Midwest Modified main event a week earlier, was second, with Lorin Johnson in third to make it an all-Johnson podium.
