Grand Rapids winner list from Thursday includes Sabraski, Broking, Adams, Carlson and Folstad
GRAND RAPIDS, MN (May 28) - Shane Sabraski, Johnny Broking, Blake Adams, Austin Carlson and McKenna Folstad added victories to their career totals Thursday at Grand Rapids Speedway, as the track hosted its second week of action of the 2026 WISSOTA Dirt Track Series racing action.
In the WISSOTA Late Models, Kevin Burdick was the early leader. Sabraski used the low side in turns three and four and the high side in turns one and two to pick his way forward from fifth to third early on behind Burdick and Billy Kendall.
A caution regrouped the field about the midpoint of the race. Burdick had moved away from the battle for second between Sabraski and Kendall, as Sabraski grabbed the second spot a few laps later. He then set off after Burdick, and used the inside line in turns three and four to take the lead and drive off to the eventual victory. Kendall supplanted Burdick to third with a handful of laps left, 10th-starter Jeff Provinzino was fourth and Kyle Peterlin finished fifth.

Broking led early from the pole in the WISSOTA Modified feature, as sixth-starter Blake Adams quickly made his way into second in the opening laps. A couple of cautions kept things slowed, but Broking remained in charge under heavy pressure from Adams following the restarts, but then moving out to more of an advantage as the laps continued to click by. One final caution gave Adams another crack at the No. 45 during the green, white, checkered shootout, but Broking nipped Adams at the finish line by .068 seconds for the hard-fought victory. Following an early caution, Sabraski worked his way back to third at the finish, ninth-starter Matt DePiero was fourth and Ryan Jensen was fifth.
In the WISSOTA Super Stocks, Sabraski drove by Steve Stuart with two laps to go and drove on to the checkered flag. Stuart was forced to settle for runner-up honors, while sixth-starter Dylan Nelson improved three spots to third. Dalton Carlson and Tyler Kintner completed the top five.

He then took the lead about two laps later and drove off to the checkered flag with a commanding advantage for the win. Seventh-starter Josh Beaulieu followed him through to second, Sam Blevins was third, Eric Anderson was fourth and Michael Blevins, Sr. completed the top five.
In the WISSOTA Pure Stocks, Austin Carlson led from start to finish to garner the victory, just ahead of Jake Smith. Alex Berg, Dylan Elhardt and Brandon Puschinsky completed the top five.

McKenna Folstad inherited the lead from Brady Fosso about the midpoint of the WISSOTA Hornet feature when he spun on his own down the frontstretch. She then held strong out front until the checkered flag to garner her first victory of the season. Ninth-starter Tucker Smith was second, Nick Ruzich was third, Jacob Petrich was fourth and Asher Tuttle rounded out the top five.
