Larson locks up another Mod Four feature win at Gillette Thunder Speedway on Saturday night

GILLETTE, WY (June 14) - Gillette Thunder Speedway opened its grandstand gates with free admission for all to the races on Saturday night. Dean Larson grabbed the WISSOTA Mod Four feature win as part of action at the oval.

Larson started fifth when the 12-lap WISSOTA Mod Four feature took the green; it took him only a few laps to work his way into the top spot. He then dashed to a 4.5-second advantage by the checkered flag for his second feature win of the season in Gillette. Casey Schilling paced the opening laps, and chased Larson to the checkers in second. Steve Schicketanz was third ahead of John Smith and Greg Baker.

Other winners on Saturday included Richard Haberstroh (Late Models), Peyton George (IMCA Modifieds), Dillon Johnson (Hobby Stock), and Layne Dilts (Mini Bombers).
