Granite City goes green and the checkers wave for Sabraski, Thomas, Adams, Koch, Randt, Larson & Fosso
SAUK RAPIDS, MN (May 3) - Shane Sabraski, Blake Adams, Joseph Thomas, Brady Fosso, Tyler Larson, Levi Randt, and Dexton Koch were the first WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners of the 2026 season at Granite City Motor Park Sunday, May 1.
Sabraski started from the pole in the WISSOTA Late Models Sunday night, holding off the charge of his former Super Stock nemesis and now fellow Late Model wheelman Dave Mass. Mass settled for second ahead of Dexton Koch, while Cole Schill and Dylan Kromschroeder recorded top-five finishes to close out their first full weekends of racing.

Thomas scored the first victory of his racing season Sunday in the Modifieds, as he led flag to flag for the win ahead of polesitter Zach Benson, JT Johnson, Blake Adams, and Shane Sabraski in the top five.
Blake Adams made it three straight wins for the weekend with his Midwest Mod triumph Sunday in Sauk Rapids. Having won earlier in the weekend at Rice Lake and Red Cedar Speedways, Adams started from the front row and grabbed the checkered ahead of Landyn Randt, Devin Fouquette, Brady Larson and Jake Hagemann in the top five.

Koch capitalized on his pole starting position in the WISSOTA Super Stocks, as he led from start to finish and made his way to victory lane ahead of Jordan Henkemeyer, who started sixth and finished second. Shane Sabraski, Dylan Kromschroeder and Dylan Nelson completed top-five runs.
Levi Randt delivered a sixth-to-first run in the WISSOTA Street Stock class Sunday night, garnering the victory ahead of Jim Gullikson, who finished second. Eighth-starter Layla Chaplin improved five spots to third, Kyle Howland was fourth and Braedyn Fleck drove from 10th to fifth at the finish.

The WISSOTA Mod Fours were topped by Tyler Larson. He moved into the lead with a few laps to go and took the victory. Connor Bruss finished second, Ashton Schwinn was third, Chad Erlandson finished fourth and Andrew Christenson rounded out the top five.
In the WISSOTA Hornet feature Brady Fosso found victory lane from the front row, overcoming polesitter Christian Kast for the lead and the eventual win. Adam VanDerostyne was third, Austin Jacobson was fourth and Tyson Roush was fifth.
Mike Layne took home top honors in the Crown Vics.
