Brede, Koch, Bjorklund & Tourville take the checkered flags right before KRA cranks the gates closed for 2025

By Ron Krog

WILLMAR, MN (September 5) - KRA Speedway put the wraps on the 2025 season with a fantastic night of racing. Napa Auto Parts covered admission for the fans, and a packed grandstand was treated to close battles across every division.

WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Seth Brede, Keith Tourville, Justin Bjorklund, and Dexton Koch.

In the WISSOTA Street Stocks, Zach Flickinger and Keith Tourville were side by side for the opening laps before Tourville powered into the lead. Behind them, Ethan Iiams and Austin Hamre dueled for third until Hamre slipped by.

As the laps wound down, Tourville stretched out a solid advantage and claimed the win. Flickinger held on for second while Joe Martin made a late charge into third with a strong run. Hamre and Layla Chaplin completed the top five.

The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds provided fans with a thriller, with Justin VanEps the early leader. In the closing laps, Bjorklund reeled him in and made the winning pass with three laps to go. Bjorklund took the checkered, VanEps finished second, and Jake Wranek crossed the line in third. Jason Vejtruba and Damon Vejtruba completed the top five.

In the WISSOTA Super Stocks, Dexton Koch quickly took control after an early challenge from Josh Roggatz. Travis Scott held second for much of the race until Shane Sabraski charged forward from deep in the field. Sabraski climbed to second, but ran out of time to catch Koch, who picked up the feature win. Scott was third followed by Tommy Bawden and Roggatz.

The WISSOTA Modifieds capped off the night with another great race. Brede and John Olmscheid battled early before Brede took charge. Tyler Kaeter and Olmscheid fought hard for second, while Sabraski moved into contention. In the closing laps it was a three-car battle, but Brede held on to grab the win. Kaeter finished second, with Brady Gerdes taking third. Sabraski and Don Eischens were top-five finishers.

In non-WISSOTA action, the Pure Stocks had a $520-to-win special and Colsten Schultz made the most of it, earning the victory and the big payday in front of a solid 12-car field.
