Smith and Caspers do the double at Greenbush Race Park Saturday and Sunday

GREENBUSH, MN (August 30 & 31) - Greenbush Race Park hosted a Labor Day doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday, with five divisions of the WISSOTA Dirt Track Series on hand in the pits. Skyler Smith and Dusty Caspers doubled up on victories, while Shane Edginton, Mike Greseth, Bryce Sward, Jordan Duray, Cole Greseth and Chris Dudley each earned a trophy as well in northern Minnesota.

Edginton won Saturday’s WISSOTA Late Model main event from the pole. He earned the victory over Dustin Strand, Brad Send, Cole Schill and Ryan Corbett.

On Sunday, Mike Greseth fired off from the pole and grabbed the Late Model win. Cole Searing settled for second ahead of Edginton, Seng and Joey Pederson.

Sward worked his way from fourth on the grid to win Saturday’s WISSOTA Modified feature. He outran polesitter Patrick Sobolik, Ward Imrie, Shawn Teunis and Connor Graff to the checkers.

Duray topped Modified action on Sunday; he started third on the grid and crossed the finish line ahead of eighth-starter Imrie. Third position went to Jason Strand ahead of Aaron Holtan and Tevin Poluyko.

Skyler Smith started fourth in Saturday’s WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. He worked his way to the front for the win, while Cylen Vargason navigated from seventh to second by the checkers. Memphis Klaasen started 11th and finished third ahead of Connor Graff and Alex Johnson.
