Mahder wins feature and claims 2024 Super Stock point championship at Cedar Lake Speedway

NEW RICHMOND, WI (August 24) - Heading into Saturday night at Cedar Lake Speedway, Ron Mahder had just a one-point advantage over Mike Loomis in the chase to the WISSOTA Super Stock track championship.

It was going to come down to whoever was able to finish ahead of the other, and Mahder made his time on the track count

Mahder took the lead just past the halfway point of the feature, and hung on to garner the win — and a track championship in the Supers — just ahead of his son, Cory Mahder. Jesse Redetzke, Kyle Copp and DJ Keeler filled out the top five.

Mahder’s championship score ended up being just 26 points ahead of Loomis when the final checkered flag fell across the 2024 regular season.

In the track’s other classes, winners included Kaden Blaeser, AJ Diemel, Matthew Larson, Scott Splittstoesser, and Jack Berger.
