MONTEVIDEO, MN (August 16) - A total of 10 Vintage Cars were on hand at Fiesta City Speedway on Friday night for their annual trip to the speedway. In addition to the Vintage visitors, WISSOTA Dirt Track Series classes included the Late Models, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, Street Stocks, and Hornets.
Winners included Matt Gilbertson, Shane Sabraski, Cole Boston, Braden Brauer, and Adam VanDerostyne.
Shane DeJong took the lead to begin the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. On lap four, Cole Boston took over the top spot and led the rest of the way for his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. DeJong, Derek Rieck, eight-starter Jake Molitor and Scott Tofte completed the top five.
Micheal Brockman took the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature, and held on out front until lap six. Braden Brauer then got by into the lead, before Ty Agen took over out front with four laps to go. Brauer did not back down, however, and regained the lead on the very next lap. He drove on to get his first win of the year at Fiesta City Speedway. Agen, eighth-starter Justin Vogel, ninth-starter Mike Jans, and 10th-starter Zachary Flickinger were top-five finishers.

Brayden Hedtke took the lead at the start of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature, holding strong through lap 13, when Sabraski got by the No. 19 and went on to get his first win of the season. Hedtke, eighth-starter Travis Scott, Andrew Hedtke, and Ryan Satter rounded out the top five.
Corey Nelson took the lead to start the WISSOTA Late Model feature. During lap three, fifth-starter Matt Gilbertson had picked his way forward into the lead. From there, he held off Sabraski for his fourth win of the year. Eighth-starter Jordan Tollakson improved five spots to third, Nelson was fourth, and Cody Lee completed the top five.

Adam VanDerostyne led the entire WISSOTA Hornet feature for his first win of the season. He was chased to the checkered flags by Christian Kast and Dustin Miller.
Carter Rice took the lead to start the Pure Stock feature. Sophia Anderson took the lead on lap three, but it was short-lived as Rice got back by Anderson for the lead on the very next lap. With five laps to go, Coltyn Schuler found his way to the front and went on to cross the finish line first, but was disqualified after post-race inspection. That handed the win to Rice, his first ever.
Mark Oftedahl and Rick Martens battled for the lead throughout the Vintage Car feature. At the checkered flag, Martens' 1969 Chevy Camaro edged out Oftedahl's 1971 Ford Torino.
