Peterlin, Bellefeuille, Myers, Bernick, Jensen and Jenson park their rides in Proctor’s victory lane Sunday night
PROCTOR, MN (August 17) - Proctor Speedway hosted its final regular season night Sunday, with WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners including Kyle Peterlin, Jody Bellefeuille, Joey Jensen, Curt Myers, Aaron Bernick and Anthony Jenson.
In the WISSOTA Midwest Mods, seventh-starter Joey Jensen moved to second after the first lap, and then drove by polesitter Paul Ripley with seven laps to go to net the victory. Mike Schneider was third, ninth-starter Tyler Vernon picked his way forward to fourth and Jacob Anderson was fifth. Jensen was announced as the track champion.

Myers started in row two of the WISSOTA Super Stock feature, making his way to the front by lap seven after a side-by-side battle with Shawn McFadden. Myers held off Steve Stuart’s effort in a two-lap shootout to the finish to take the win, while Stuart was second, McFadden was third, Kevin Salin was fourth and Thomas Hauert improved six spots to fifth. Stuart was named the track champion in the Super Stocks.
Peterlin continued to dominate the WISSOTA Late Model class at Proctor, racing into the lead with just a few laps completed and driving to the victory ahead of front-row starter Jeff Massingill. Danny Vang, Harry Hanson and Jayme Lautigar were top-five finishers. Peterlin was also named the speedway’s track champion for 2025.

In the WISSOTA Modified feature, Bellefeuille used a second-lap restart to pressure Neil Balduc for the lead, but Balduc remained strong out front through several laps. Bellefeuille switched up his line a bit and rebuilt his momentum, getting by Balduc with six to go. He drove on to the victory ahead of a great side-by-side battle for second between Balduc and Blake Adams. Balduc prevailed for second, Adams was third, and Cody Carlson and 10th-starter Nick Oreskovich completed the top five. Bellefeuille was also crowned track champion.
Heading into the final night of WISSOTA Pure Stock action, Eric Crosby and Jake Smith were tied for top honors in the class. On track, Bernick started in the second row and made his way past front-row starters Crosby and Smith along the high side at about the midpoint to grab the victory in the WISSOTA Pure Stocks. He was chased to the checkered flag by Smith, Crosby, Austin Carlson and Tom Treviranus in the top five. Smith was named the track champion in the Pure Stocks.

Jenson picked his way forward from row three at the start of the WISSOTA Hornets to take the lead with less than a handful of laps to go, and then held on through the waning stages to take home the victory. Spencer Smith, Nathan Penney, 11th-starter Carson Gotelaere and Russell Kiker, Jr. were top-five finishers. Gotelaere won the track championship with the drop of the green.
