Reinke and Carter top WISSOTA divisions Thursday at Sheyenne Speedway

LISBON, ND (August 7) - A nice field of 18 strong-running WISSOTA Street Stocks made their way out west for the DRC Street Stock Tour championship weekend, starting Thursday at Sheyenne Speedway.

WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Hunter Carter and Zach Reinke.

The 20-lap WISSOTA Street Stock feature was a dandy, as Levi Randt took the early lead with Carter right on his rear bumper. Five laps into the race Carter grabbed the lead, but behind him it was chaos as Kyle Dykhoff and Justin Vogel went at it for second, and Hanson and Sam Fankhauser battled for fourth.

Out front Carter dominated for the win, grabbing the checkered flag ahead of Dykhoff, Vogel, Hanson and Fankhauser in the top five.

The WISSOTA Midwest Mod feature was led to green by Zach Reinke and Cole Neset. Reinke was really cooking as he checked out on the field, with Kyle Anderson moving to second. The battle for third was a good one between Ryan Ost and Cole Neset. In the end, Reinke grabbed a nice win ahead of Anderson, Ost, Kyle Langland and Neset in the top five.

In the track’s other classes, Bodie Croninger grabbed the Gen X Late Model feature victory, while Regan Reinke pulled off a last-lap pass to win the Legend feature. Billy Carow grabbed his second Hobby Stock/Bomber feature win, and Mason Bogart dominated the Short Tracker/Hornet feature.
