Larson, Hauff and Ferguson provide fireworks on the track as Black Hills Speedway celebrates the Fourth
RAPID CITY, SD (July 4) - Darin Hauff, Leonard Ferguson and Dean Larson secured WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victories Friday at Black Hills Speedway, as the Rapid City, South Dakota track hosted drivers and fans for a special holiday program featuring fireworks and the ASCS Northern Plains Region Sprint Car Tour.
Hauff started outside row three, taking the lead with about six to go and driving on to victory lane in the WISSOTA Midwest Mods. He was chased to the checkered flag by Brennan Davis, Paul Parks, Robby Howie, and Ryan Nash in the top five.
In the WISSOTA Street Stocks, Ferguson continued to build upon his BHS win streak, as last week’s winner again grabbed the checkered flag ahead of Troy Murner, Warren Pourier, Jr., Cole Phillips and Kyle Hanson in the top five.

Larson used his front-row starting spot to his advantage, leading from start to finish in the WISSOTA Mod Fours. Clint Jensen, Mitchell Hribar - in his first start since 2019, Tristan Torres and Rob Arlaud were top-five finishers.
Kelly Miller won the Sprint feature, Eric Mass topped the Modifieds, and John Garrigan, Jr. brought home the Hobby Stock win in the track’s other racing action.
