Friday night was fun for Brauer and Jensen at Black Hills, and Leiker locks up $1250 for MidMod win
RAPID CITY, SD (July 18) - Troy Leiker, Kolton Brauer and Clint Jensen found their way to WISSOTA Dirt Track Series victory lane Friday night at Black Hills Speedway, as the track hosted a $1,250-to-win WISSOTA Midwest Mod special to highlight the evening’s action.
Leiker started fourth in the Midwest Mod headliner, moving into the lead around lap seven of the 20-lapper and driving off to a 3-second advantage at the finish. He was chased across the stripe by his brother Tony Leiker, Alan Farley, ninth-starter Connor Friske and 11th-starter Matt Heinzerling in the top five.
In the WISSOTA Mod Fours, Jensen’s journey to the front began in sixth. He grabbed the victory ahead of seventh-starter Dean Larson, Shelli Lind, Rob Arlaud and Tristan Torres in the top five.

Brauer bagged his win from the front row of the WISSOTA Street Stock feature, leading from green to checkered to pick up his 24th victory of the season. Leonard Ferguson, Warren Pourier, Jr., Troy Murner and Cole Phillips were top five finishers.
Blayne Brink (360 Sprints), Eric Mass (IMCA Modifieds), and John Garrigan, Jr. (IMCA Hobby Stocks) were also victorious during Friday’s program at the Rapid City, South Dakota speedplant.
