Berger, Castro and Tribble trip up WISSOTA rivals Friday night at Billings, MT

BILLINGS, MT (July 11) - Big Sky Speedway fans enjoyed side-by-side finishes, last-lap passes for the win, phenomenal racing and great weather Friday, July 11, as the track hosted the first of a two-day show at the Billings, Montana-area speedplant.

WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Jon Tribble, Mario Berger, and Jeremy Castro.

In the WISSOTA Super Stocks, Tribble started fifth and made his way forward into second around lap eight. He maneuvered past race-long leader R.C. Geiss during the final lap to secure the victory, his fourth of 2025. Geiss, Matt Tribble, and Paul Fasching were the final finishers in the nine-car field.

Berger started on the front row of the WISSOTA Midwest Mod feature and led from flag to flag to pick up his ninth win of the season. Nathan Kenaston, Shay Evig, 10th-starter Jon Tribble, and 16th-starter Vance Lorenz completed the top five.

The WISSOTA Street Stock feature was led from start to finish by Castro, who was able to build a more than 9 second advantage at the finish ahead of Dylan Stephenson in second. Patrick Salway, Matt Riesinger, and 10th-starter Dalton Stephenson completed the top five.

In the other action at Big Sky Friday, Travis Wagner won in INEX Legend action and Kade Vogt topped the Wingless Sprints.
