Smith scores a $3,058 Midwest Mod feature win at Timmy Ims ALS fight night at Fiesta City Speedway

MONTEVIDEO, MN (July 11) - A total of 23 WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds came to Fiesta City Speedway for the 25-lap, $3,058 to win feature in honor of former racer Timmy Ims and his fight against ALS Friday night, July 11. Jake Smith came from the fourth row in his bid for the lead and the big check, taking the top honors at the checkered flag.
Zach Johnson, Brian Haben, Kolton Brauer, and Brady Albertson were also WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners.

Dustin Schultz took the lead to begin the WISSOTA Street Stock feature, before Brauer got by on lap five. Mike Jans entered the picture from his eighth starting spot and took the lead from Brauer with four laps to go. Brauer came back and drove by Jans in the final laps to get his third win of the year. Jans, Schultz, Alex Grinager and ninth-starter Coltyn Schuler were top-five finishers.
Ryan Flaten took the lead to start the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. Near the halfway point of the race, Jake Smith took over the top spot and led the rest of the way to get the feature win. Flaten, Onyx Johnson, 10th-starter Cole Boston and Brennon Weight completed the top five.

Jon Tollakson jumped to the lead to start the WISSOTA Late Model feature. Devin Fouquette took over out front the very next lap. Three laps later, Zach Johnson drove past and went on to win his second feature of the season. Fouquette, Jordan Tollakson, Dalton Magers and Corey Nelson completed the top five.
Brian Haben led the entire WISSOTA Modified feature for his first win of the year. Nate Heinrich and Jacob Knapper completed the podium.

Brady Albertson paced the WISSOTA Hornet feature from flag to flag for his second win of the season. He was chased to the checkered flag by Bradley Rossow, 10th-starter Jerik Stabler, Adam Castle and Paxton Tjaden in the top five.
Landon Albertson took the lead on the last lap of the Pure Stock feature to win his fourth feature of the season.
