MONTEVIDEO, MN (May 2) - A total of 86 cars were in the pits for the 2025 season opener at Fiesta City Speedway. With rainouts across WISSOTA country, it was a nice mix of familiar faces and visitors on hand for the opening night action.
WISSOTA Dirt Track Series winners included Zach Johnson, Blake Adams, Travis Scott, Landyn Randt, Levin Randt, and Brady Albertson.
Blake Adams, who pulled double duty Friday night, was the early leader of the WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature. With just two laps to go, Landyn Randt drove by Adams for the top spot and drove on to pick up his first feature win at Fiesta City Speedway. Eighth-starter Tyler Vernon displaced Adams for second, Onyx Johnson was fourth, and 11th-starter Tim Kanten improved six spots to complete the top five.

Nate Heinrich took the lead at the beginning of the WISSOTA Modified feature, but during the final laps Adams found his way by the No. 10H and went on to get his first Modified win at Fiesta City Speedway. Heinrich, Brandon Copp, Ryan Flaten and Ryan Gierke completed the top five.
