Rain at Rice Lake Speedway forces Kids Night move to May 24

RICE LAKE, WI (May 17) - The wet and cold weather ended any hope of racing Saturday night at Rice Lake Speedway. An early call to cancel was made based on the wet track from Thursday and Friday night rains, the lack of sunshine to dry the track, plus the cold and windy conditions.

The good news is that Kids’ Night activities have been rescheduled for this coming Saturday night, May 24. All activities planned for Saturday will be held this coming Saturday instead, including the opportunity for fans to go on to the race track, meet the drivers and get a close-up look at the race cars. Over 130 prize packages, including the famous kids bike giveaways, will also take place.

Regular admission pricing will be in effect and a full show for the Modified, Super Stock, Midwest Modified, Street Stock and Pure Stocks will be presented. Race time is 6 p.m.
