Elmers earns Midwest Mod win Friday at Casper Speedway

CASPER, WY (May 15) - A small field of WISSOTA-sanctioned racers headed to Casper Speedway Friday night, with Justin Elmer’s victory in the WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds highlighting action at the Wyoming oval.

Elmer started outside of row two and took the victory ahead of Jake Bosch, Chad Switzenberg, Wyatt Shields and Anthony Peterson in the top five.

In the WISSOTA Street Stocks, only one representative was on hand - Benji Bayne.

And in the WISSOTA Mod Fours, Paige Asmus Cordova topped her main competitor, Glenn Asmus, following their eight-lap feature shootout.

In the track’s other action, Rayce McCord won the IMCA Modified feature, Sam Ogden was victorious in the IMCA Sport Compacts, Russ Dalgarn took home the trophy in the IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Matt Brown topped the Rocky Mountain Hard Top class.
