Race party to raise funds for bike night and Rice Lake car show ahead for track in March

RICE LAKE, WI – A couple of important dates are fast approaching for Rice Lake Speedway fans and competitors.

On March 7, The Tree Stand Tavern, located at 48 S. 5th Street in Barron will host a race party beginning at 2 p.m. The purpose of this party is to raise money that will be used to purchase bikes for the Kid's Night bike giveaway on May 23 at the speedway.

There will be activities for kids and adults, prizes, raffles and a chance to talk racing as preparations continue for the 2026 racing season. A successful party means more smiles, more bikes and more memories for local kids.

Other dates to keep in mind include the annual car show, to be held at the Cedar Mall in Rice Lake on March 27-29, the race car and go kart parts and swap meet to be held at the mall on March 28, and the 74th season opener of Rice Lake Speedway April 25.
