By Ed Reichert

RICE LAKE, WI – Rice Lake Speedway LLC, owners of Rice Lake Speedway, have released information about the 2026 awards banquet, celebrating the 2025 racing season and drivers’ accomplishments.

For the first time, the speedway banquet will be held at St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake. This year the banquet will be held Saturday night, February 21, with the social hour starting at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the awards to be presented starting at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to the banquet, with all those under 21 years of age banded by security so they will be allowed to attend.

Tickets are $20 and that includes admission plus the meal, consisting of fried chicken, mashed potato and gravy, vegetable, salad, dinner roll, dessert and soda. Busch Light will be available until gone and a cash bar will also be available.

Those who would like to attend only the awards portion of the program may pay $5 at the door.

The top five drivers in all five classes who race at the speedway will be honored, plus special awards will also be handed out. Promoter Kolby Kiehl will also report on the 2025 racing season, track plans for 2026 and beyond, plus reveal the complete track schedule.

Tickets must be purchased online prior to February 6 so the casino will have an accurate head count for the event. Meal tickets will not be available at the door!

Anyone having questions about the banquet or ticketing questions should either refer to the speedway website at www.ricelakespeedway.net or call 534-208-7828.

Watch the speedway website and social media site for more announcements prior to the race opener.
